MediLocker Terms, Privacy & Conditions of Use

Your health records uploaded to MediLocker belong entirely to you. HealnDeal does not claim ownership of any health document, file, image, scan or report you upload. You retain full ownership and control at all times.
HealnDeal acts as a data processor and secure storage facilitator — not a data owner. Your records are stored in encrypted form and are never shared with any third party without your explicit action.
All files uploaded to MediLocker are encrypted using AES-256 encryption at rest. All data transmitted between your device and HealnDeal servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3 (HTTPS). No unencrypted health data is stored anywhere on HealnDeal systems.
HealnDeal employees, technical staff and contractors do not have access to the contents of your health records. Only you (and people you explicitly share a link with) can access your records.
HealnDeal collects the following information to provide the MediLocker service: (a) your registered email and phone number for authentication; (b) file metadata — file name, upload date, category tag — to power the search and sort features; (c) encrypted file content stored on secure servers.
We do not use your health records for advertising, profiling, recommendation engines or any commercial purpose. Health data is classified as Sensitive Personal Data under DPDP Act 2023 and is handled accordingly.
HealnDeal will never share your health records with any third party — including insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, employers, government agencies or advertisers — without your explicit and documented consent.
When you generate a share link, you are choosing to give temporary access to the recipient. Share links are time-limited and encrypted. HealnDeal does not log or monitor what the recipient views within a shared session. You can revoke a share link at any time before it expires.
If you create a family profile for a minor (below 18 years), you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of that child's health records. HealnDeal treats minor health data with the highest privacy protections.
Family profiles added under your account are accessible only by the account holder. Sharing a family member's records via share link is your decision and responsibility.
You may only upload genuine health documents belonging to you or a family member for whom you are the legal guardian. It is prohibited to upload: forged or altered medical documents; records belonging to unrelated individuals; non-medical content; commercial or promotional files; or content that violates applicable law.
Uploading forged prescriptions or medical documents with intent to misuse for medicine orders or insurance claims is a criminal offence under Indian law. HealnDeal reserves the right to permanently suspend accounts found misusing MediLocker and to report such activity to authorities.
Your health records are retained as long as your account remains active. If you delete a record, it is permanently removed from HealnDeal servers within 30 days. If you close your account, all associated health records are permanently deleted within 60 days.
HealnDeal does not maintain backups of deleted health records. Once deletion is confirmed, recovery is not possible. You are encouraged to download copies of your important records before deletion.
MediLocker is a personal health document storage service. It is not a clinical health information system (HIS), electronic medical record (EMR) system or regulated medical device. HealnDeal does not validate, verify or take responsibility for the medical accuracy of documents you upload.
Documents shared via MediLocker with a doctor do not replace a proper clinical consultation. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to: (a) access a summary of personal data held about you; (b) correction and erasure of inaccurate personal data; (c) grievance redressal; and (d) nomination of another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

HealnDeal may update these MediLocker Terms from time to time. You will be notified via email and in-app notification at least 7 days before any material changes take effect. Continued use of MediLocker after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
